Start your journey with an early morning pick-up from Arusha, where you’ll drive through scenic landscapes, passing small villages and open plains on your way to Serengeti National Park. This drive takes around 6-7 hours, including entry to the park and lunch along the way.

Lunch:
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the park’s entrance, or a designated area along the route, while soaking in the panoramic views of the Serengeti plains.

Afternoon Game Drive:
Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, exploring the expansive plains known for their endless horizons and high wildlife concentrations. The Serengeti is a prime location for spotting the “Big Cats”—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes.

Evening Meal:
End your day with a delicious dinner at your camp, featuring locally inspired dishes and fresh ingredients.

Accommodation:
Kati Kati Tented Camp or Serengeti Tortilis Camp. Both camps provide comfortable, midrange tented accommodations with en-suite bathrooms and close proximity to the wildlife-rich areas of the Serengeti.

Breakfast:

Afternoon Game Drive:
In the afternoon, explore different areas of the Serengeti. If you’re visiting during the Great Migration (typically July-October and December-March), your guide will help you locate the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras on their journey. You may even catch a dramatic river crossing or predator-prey interaction!

Evening Meal:
Return to camp for a freshly prepared dinner and enjoy a peaceful night under the African stars.

Depart early from the Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas. This scenic drive takes about 3-4 hours, with stops to stretch and take in the landscapes.

Breakfast:
Enjoy breakfast before descending into the crater, either packed from the camp or prepared by your lodge.

Game Drive on Crater Floor:
Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a half-day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is home to a dense population of wildlife, making it one of the best spots in Africa to see lions, elephants, black rhinos, and buffaloes. Observe grazing wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, while hippos wallow in the crater’s central lake, Lake Magadi.

Lunch:
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by incredible views and wildlife roaming nearby.

Afternoon Departure to Arusha:
Ascend from the crater in the afternoon and begin your journey back to Arusha, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Reflect on the amazing wildlife encounters and memories you’ve made as you arrive back in Arusha in the early evening.
